Winica Casino
Winica Casino is an offline plant care log whose watering intervals shift with the season and with where the pot sits. This page explains what the app does and does not do with your data.
Winica Casino does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information.
Information we collect
None. There is no account to create and no profile held anywhere. The name and avatar you can set are kept on the phone purely so the app has something to call you.
Data stored on your device
To make the app work, Winica Casino stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
- The plants you add — name, the species notes you write, the spot you keep it in, and the interval for each kind of job.
- Any of the fifteen starter species you have planted, along with your edits to them.
- Your care history: which job was ticked off on which plant and on what day, which the round, the streak, the charts and the records are all read off.
- The sprigs you have earned.
- Your display name, chosen avatar mark, and the date the log was started.
- Settings: northern or southern hemisphere, and whether tomorrow's jobs are swept into today's round.
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to Winica Casino or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
Permissions
None whatsoever. The Android package declares no uses-permission entries — no location, no camera, no storage, and no internet access. That last one is also why there are no push reminders: nothing runs in the background and nothing is scheduled off-device.
Network use
The build contains no networking code. No HTTP request is made, no socket is opened and no server is contacted. The app behaves exactly the same with the phone offline. The only thing that ever leaves the app is what you hand to the Android share sheet yourself, and that is a fixed one-line description of the app - never your own entries. Where it goes after that is decided by whichever app you pick in the sheet.
Third-party services
None are integrated. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter and no attribution library. The dependencies — Flutter, provider, Hive, shared_preferences, fl_chart, intl and share_plus — are local-only and none of them transmit anything.
Children's privacy
Suitable for all ages. As nothing is collected or transmitted, no personal information can be obtained from a child under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), so COPPA and GDPR-K consent requirements do not come into play.
Your rights
Every piece of data is on your own device, so you have full access and full control already. Remove a single plant or undo a logged job in the app, clear everything from the keeper screen, or uninstall — uninstalling takes the whole shelf and every setting with it. Nothing is held on a server, so there is nothing for us to hand over or delete, and no backup to restore from.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
